Learning in a GATE classroom

Louis Riel is excited to host an evening for parents to experience the GATE program for themselves!

Come back to School!

6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Louis Riel School
9632 Oakfield Drive SW

Have you ever wondered what happens in a GATE classroom and how it differs from a regular program? Teachers from grades 4, 5, 6, and 7 will help you understand the classroom experience and answer your questions about how the GATE program is taught. Get ready for a fun evening that will provide insight into how your child spends their days learning and thinking.

In order to accommodate all interested parents (and ensure we have enough snacks!), please RSVP to info@gatecalgary.ca by May 24th. As always, donations are greatly appreciated as this money is used to support professional development for all our GATE teachers. All participants are welcome to join the business meeting to be held immediately after the event. This meeting will be brief and informative and the executive welcomes all interested members. If your child is in GATE…you are a member!

Who can attend? This event is open to all who are interested. Please RSVP to info@gatecalgary.ca.

Is there a cost? Suggested donation is $5 if possible. All funds raised this evening will go toward teacher professional development.
