Key Topics Covered:

  • Many gifted and high-achieving students may not receive enough academic challenge when classroom instruction focuses mainly on grade-level expectations.
  • Research was shared on the wide range of student achievement levels within classrooms.
  • The session highlighted how gifted learners grow, learn, and develop differently from their peers.
  • Practical strategies were provided to help parents support children who benefit from greater academic challenge.
