This session will provide a basic understanding of ‘what is giftedness?’, exploring the unique and often complex characteristics that may be present in these children. For parents, this session will discuss how the characteristics accompanying giftedness may cause challenges in school as well as in parenting at home. Tools for ‘survival’–to help these children to be successful–will be discussed as well.
